Stayed for two days prior to a cruise. Great location. Pikes Market is steps away and the Space Needle Monorail is just a short walkable distance. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Every staff member we met was courteous and helpful. You need to try the attached Ben Paris restaurant. Definitely would stay again.

The State Hotel is in a fabulous location right next to the Public Market. The folks working there were very clear on communication and made me feel comfortable. The rooms are updated and trendy luxury. Don’t expect huge rooms as you are in downtown Seattle. I would recommend anyone stay here.

This hotel was amazing, every employee that we interacted with was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! The room might have been the cleanest room from any hotel that I've ever stayed at. The hotel was very hip and cool. The hotel restaurant, Ben Paris, had amazing Ricatta Pancakes and great service! The hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from the Public Market which is one of the main attractions we wanted to check out in Seattle. Great hotel, great location.

Stayed here recently and had a great experience. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are well-maintained, and the views are excellent. A highlight is the in-house restaurant, Ben Paris — great food, a solid bar, and a nice coffee setup if you need a quick work break. The WiFi is reliable enough for getting work done. Don’t miss the rooftop — especially the west-facing section. It’s perfect for catching the sunset. You can even bring drinks up from the lobby and enjoy the view. Rooftop access is available until 10 PM. The location is ideal — right in downtown Seattle, within a comfortable 10–20 minute walk to Pike Place Market, the Seattle Great Wheel, and waterfront activities. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. Also appreciated the small perk of receiving 3 chips for $15 off purchases in the lobby or restaurant. Overall, a very comfortable and well-located stay. Would definitely recommend.

We love this hotel. The staff is welcoming and upgraded us to a large king with a balcony on the 8th floor just down the hallway from the rooftop lounge overlooking Pike Market. The location is ideal, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The lobby is so unique with delicious free coffee in the morning. What a find - so glad we stayed here.

Great stay! Perfect location downtown for walking to the waterfront, ferries, restaurants and landmarks downtown, including the monorail to Space Needle and Link transit to the airport (and other stops). And also, Pine Place Market is just a block away, too! The room is modern and attractive and the bathroom is quite large. We had a corner city view room, so we had windows on both walls. Amazingly quiet room, considering the busy location in tourist central. Couldn't hear between rooms either. The rooftop terrace is a must! It overlooks Pike Place Market and has wonderful water views. There is some limited drink and snack service as well. The hotel restaurant, Ben Paris, is consistently bustling. Room service food also comes from there. Good atmosphere and entrees, though our burgers and fries were really salty. I highly recommend staying at The State Hotel!

Great place to stay when in Seattle! We stayed one night. Only one block away from Pike’s Place Market and a Target! Couldn’t ask for a better location. Parking is in the parking garage one block away too! Everything was clean. Bed was SO comfortable! Cool rooftop terrace that’s a bar at night! Enjoyed sitting up there in the morning to read and overlook the market.
